Public Service CS Moses Kuria disagreed with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s call to consult with him, stating they were elected to solve people’s problems collectively.

Kuria emphasized that being a DP does not mean leaders should go to him for solutions, but rather work together to address the country’s challenges.

The CS highlighted that there are no specific offices for solutions and that a collaborative effort is needed to tackle issues facing Kenya.

Kuria mentioned that if Martha Karua or Jeremiah Kioni called him, he would go to their house with respect, emphasizing the importance of mutual respect among leaders.

Deputy President Gachagua had urged Karua and Kioni to consult with him regarding the Limuru III Conference, expressing the need for informed discussions on matters concerning the Mount Kenya region.

Gachagua stressed his senior leadership role in the region and the importance of being kept in the loop about regional issues.

The DP mentioned that he had only learned about the conference through the media and had not been fully briefed by its organizers.

Gachagua expressed readiness to engage in discussions with leaders regarding the Mount Kenya region, highlighting the significance of open communication and collaboration.

Kuria’s stance on the approach taken by the second-in-command reflects a belief in the power of collective problem-solving and inclusive decision-making processes.
