Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua found himself in a bit of a rush to exit the PEFA Church, Mwea Cathedral, after his wife, Pastor Dorcas Gachagua, delivered a speech at the Consecration and Installation of Kirinyaga Region Bishop Samuel Karimi. Following his wife’s address, Gachagua emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong connection with the electorate, reminding leaders that the voters are their ultimate bosses. Additionally, he took the opportunity to urge the younger generation to cease their anti-government protests, asserting that the government is already working to address their concerns and that the peaceful protests have been infiltrated by individuals with malicious intentions.
